MARIANA SIMÕES
Professora de língua inglesa
Professora de língua inglesa desde 2008, Mariana é especialista em preparação para certificações internacionais, responsável por ministrar a matéria “Educação Bilíngue e Exames de Proficiência” na Pós Graduação em Ensino Bilíngue no Instituto Brasileiro de Formação de Educadores. Além de vasta experiência em educação bilíngue e alfabetização, também é autora de materiais didáticos nas abordagens CLIL e PBL, tanto para educação infantil quanto para o ensino fundamental.
Certificada pela Cambridge University, em ensino e linguagem, possui também Graduação em Pedagogia e cursos de extensão pela Faculdade Cultura Inglesa e Davis University na Califórnia. Atualmente é Pós Graduanda em Multilinguismo e Educação Global pela PUC.
"I think I always knew I was going to be a teacher. One of my first and most vivid memories of my childhood is playing with all my teddy bears, lining them up, and teaching them exactly the same things I had learned that day. And this is how I started my career—not with the teddy bears, of course, but by teaching my colleagues at school. English and Pop Culture had always been my passion; I never realized I stood out amongst my peers until my teens, but I sucked in Chemistry! So the school counselor asked me to tutor my friends for the English tests while they did the same for me. Well, two decades later, I can say the rest is history!"
